This policy explains how TVS Alts handles personal information collected through this website. The only way this site collects information directly from you is the contact form, plus a small amount of technical data that your browser sends when you visit.

Who we are
“This website is operated by TVS Alternatives Private Limited (“TVS Alternatives”, “we”, “us”). TVS Alts has applied for registration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund. We manage a performing credit fund and are part of the TVS Capital Funds group. “TVS Alts” is the name we use for this website and our brand.
Our registered office is No. 119, Harita Towers, 2nd Floor, St. Mary’s Road, Abhiramapuram, Chennai, 600018. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the information described here.
What information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we ask for:
- your name
- your company or organisation
- your phone number
- your email address
- the subject of your enquiry
- whether you are an investor, a partner or a borrower
- your message
Please do not include bank account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar or other identity documents in the message box. We do not need them to reply to an enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours receives technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies, described below.
Why we use your information
We use the information you send through the contact form to:
- read and respond to your enquiry
- direct it to the right person in our team
- keep a record of the conversation, including for compliance purposes
- follow up on a request you have made, such as a call back
We use technical data to keep the website working, protect it from misuse and understand in general terms how it is being used. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
If you ask us about investing, we may share information about our fund only with eligible investors and in line with applicable law. A message through this form is not an application to invest.

Some of our service providers may store information on servers outside India.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact form enquiries for 1 year and then delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them for longer. Technical data is kept for 3 years for logs and analytics data.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls, encrypted connections to this website and restricted internal access to enquiries. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to erase your information, where we no longer need it for the purpose it was given or for a legal reason
- withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what we did with your information before you withdrew it
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to do so
- make a complaint through our grievance process below, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response
To exercise a right, write to the contact address at the end of this policy. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve the issue within 14 days.
